
Over the weekend, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame held its annual induction ceremony, admitting a new crop of entrants with all the pomp and circumstance befitting music legends. While there were several huge bands that joined the Hall this year, the biggest inductee of the night was undoubtedly Tupac. He was posthumously inducted by Snoop Dogg, who called him “the greatest rapper of all time.” Watch his full speech below.
After Snoop’s speech, he took part in a huge musical tribute to the rap icon. He was joined by Alicia Keys, YG and T.I. who performed a medley of tracks that included “Dear Mama,” “Hail Mary,” “Gangsta Shit” and more. Watch that below.
Aside from Tupac, some of the other inductees of the evening included Pearl Jam, Yes and Journey. His entry into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a huge step forward in the admittance of hip-hop acts, of which he is the first solo rapper to be included.
